Dog tags are “in” right now …

Or at least I keep seeing them everywhere. I think it has to do with the military influence here in the Hampton Roads area. All things camo or patriotic are cool with the kids around here. This particular dog tag was hiding in the toe of Dylan’s stocking for Christmas. I actually thought he would want to put it on his baseball gear bag but he’s been wearing it as a necklace. He said he got lots of compliments on it at school this past week.
You can get just about anything engraved on a set of dog tags to give as a gift and it’s very customizable. Dylan love baseball so of course I had the baseball added on the side. I originally added his positions (pitcher, and 2nd baseman) and his # but then I took it off because his number is always changing every year, they don’t get to choose and he might play a different position this coming season since they don’t get to choose that either. I’ll be nice and not rant our local baseball leagues … if I had the money I’d start my own darn league.
