put Kindle under the tree!

Don’t know what to get the fellow geek friend on your holiday gift list? Well, let’s see if it were me and the hubby here a few things we’d love to see under the Christmas tree would all be a little technology powered. Like the shiny new Amazon Kindle. *drool* What’s that? You haven’t heard yet!?! /gasp ~ Amazon Kindle is a revolutionary new portable reader that you use to download books, newspapers, magazines and blogs to a crisp, high-resolution electronic paper display that looks and reads like real paper, even in bright sunlight.
I honestly haven’t read much about this wonderful little device yet, but from what I’ve read so far I am definitely interested and itching to see it up close and personal! If you’re an obsessive magazine and newspaper subscriber this little device will save you money in the long run. Yes, it is going to cost you $399 nowto get your Kindle in your hands, but if you subscribe to all your favorite magazines and newspapers via Kindle you will save huge amounts of subscription fees, not to mention the amount of paper waste you eliminate! It’s amazing. And the books, oh the books, I love books. This eliminates the decision of which book to take on your next road trip … just take the Kindle and take them all.
I’ll wait a year, and look at it, when it’s about half this price!
I do hope it goes down in price so it can be more widespread. I think once the price goes down more books, magazines and newspapers and blogs will jump on board as well!
Wow . . . it’s definitely going on my wish list too! I hadn’t heard of it, so thanks for sharing.
