As a southerner, I often use the phrase “crammed like sardines in a can”, but even I have never seen anything like this! How many times have you been stranded in the woods and thought, “wow…I sure wish I had everything I need all mashed up in one tiny place”? Well, now you can!! They crammed 25 survival necessities in this tiny can for only $10!

Each can includes:

–non-aspirin pain reliever
–adhesive bandage
–alcohol pad
–antibiotic ointment
–a book of matches
–compass
–chewing gum
–sugar
–salt
–energy nugget
–duct tape
–fire starter cube
–first aid instructions
–fish hook and line
–note paper
–pencil
–razor blade
–safety pin
–reflective signal surface
–tea bag
–waterproof bag
–whistle
–wire clip
So, as you can see, they’ve put a lot of stuff in a small package! Although I’m not sure where that Tootsie Roll came from…but, hey, I’d eat it!
I’d love to know how they did it, myself, and it might even be worth $10 to me to find out!!
Want one? Get it at ThinkGeek! (There’s also survival kit in a water bottle, which might be even more useful)

Not just any golf bag, the Soldius Golf Bag with an integrated solar charger for cell phones and BlackBerries. Now that’s high powered thinking and technology. Who is out there on the golf course in the middle of the day? Business people. Those business people might need to receive an urgent phone call or text message about work. Dads. What if junior thinks he can fly and jumps out of a tree and breaks his ankle? Dad won’t know if his battery is dead. And dads are notorious for letting their cell battery go dead at the most important times.
This beautiful bag comes with a solar powered charger that’s compatible with more than 250 cell phones and styles of BlackBerry. How cool is that? Of course before you spend your left arm to buy this amazing bag, make sure your current cell phone or BB are on that list! If it’s not on the list (which is unlikely) I’m sure there are plenty of other cool geeky golf bags out there to choose from too!

Just because you’re playing against the boys doesn’t mean you can’t look good right? Check out these totally cute golf shoes. I love the argyle look, but I’m a bit of a dork that way. I think I’d like to see them in pink and black too. Besides, funny looking clothes aren’t really a requirement for golfing, men are just less talented than us.

It never ceases to amaze the number of gizmos and gadgets that come out for the sport of golf. And even more impressive is the number of women that are getting involved in golfing and kicking their male counterparts patookies. That’s right women can kick ass too. As a result there have been an increase in golf apparel ladies might actually like to wear and gizmos that ladies might like to use! Like this monogram set. Not that it’s only for us girls, guys can use it too of course. But I do see it as a being being a more girl friendly way to mark your golf balls. Guys seem more likely to just use a Sharpie.

I love shoes, that’s no secret. And my kids seem to inherited my liking for footwear, they all have sandals and sneakers and seem to really enjoy getting new shoes. Then again they like getting anything I’m willing to pay for. Shoes are the one area I’m willing to splurge and go pricier for them because your feet are very important, they hold the rest of you up after all! If you don’t have a good pair of shoes to support all of you then you’re going to end up with bad posture and a sore back.
What I was I saying? Oh. Crocs. This is one thing we don’t have any of. I had avoided them, even when Ethan thought he needed a pair at Disney because every kid in the park was wearing them. And of course what he really wanted were the mouse ear decorations that they had stuck in the holes! He needed mouse ears on his shoes by golly.

This is a little different. Apparently Crocs were not happy taking over the entire nursing profession and getting nurses to by tons of them in fun colors to match their fun scrubs. No, no, that was not enough. Then there were the kids!! Ha let’s pull the kids into it too, kids will beg their parents to buy the funny looking rubber shoes with holes in the top.
College students and college sports fans of all ages will now want these new officially licensed college themed Crocs. I chose Penn State because my oldest intends to go there someday
Such a smart little boy. Good choice indeed. Especially with his skills in math, science and technology.

Can you see the Penn State football fans wearing these to the games. Well, maybe not the football fans …. it gets a bit chilly at the home games you’d need a thick pair of socks underneath to keep the tootsies warm. I definitely don’t miss Pittsburgh’s weather at all. I’ll stay here in Virginia nice and warm. Oh yes, there are Virginia Tech Crocs too, and yes they are very orange as you can see.
And I know what you’re thinking. Loretta, those are shoes. Yes, I know they are SHOES! Shoes are like gadgets for your feet. Did you miss the part where they hold all of you up off the ground? That’s a lot of work for a shoe to do. And without a USB port or anything … imagine that.
