Or win it… either way. I love Oral B’s powered toothbrushes! I used to think that they were just for lazy brushing, but when my dental hygienist recommended I switch to using one a few years ago and to toss the boring old plain toothbrush I found out there was a big difference. It actually did a better job.
Ellen DeGeneres recently recommended Oral-B’s Triumph With SmartGuide toothbrush ad a great gift for the holidays. Now, 100 people can win this item by entering a contest Ellen and Oral-B are holding. Enter to win your Oral B Triumph at Ellen’s website.
Contest ends 12/31!! So hurry up and get entered! Good luck
Well, that is if you have a Wii. I haven’t managed to snag one yet. One of the things people love about the Wii is that it gets you moving and doing fun things. Wii Fit is just another thing to add that. You can even do Yoga with your Wii! Yoga + Video Games = You fit and having fun! The release date hasn’t been announced yet, but you can sign up at Amazon to get notifed when the Wii Fit is ready to go. It looks as though it’s going to be about $70 for the WiiFit that comes complete with balance board.
As users stand on the Wii Balance Board, included with Wii Fitness, their body’s overall balance is tied to the game in a way they’ve never experienced before.
The active-play phenomenon started by Wii Sports now spreads to your whole body thanks to a pressure-sensitive Wii balance board, which comes packed with Wii Fit. The board is used for an extensive array of fun and dynamic activities, including aerobics, yoga, muscle stretches and games. Many of these activities focus towards providing a “core” workout, a popular exercise method that emphasizes slower, controlled motions. Family members will have fun staying active and talking about and comparing their results and progress on a new channel on the Wii Menu.

Mesothelioma is a form of cancer linked to asbestos exposure that occurs in the sac lining of the chest, abdomen, or the lining of the heart. One of many forms of cancer that are out there plaguing all of us right now. Cancer has no cure, and in most cases we don’t even know what causes cancer. This particular form of cancer is linked to exposure to asbestos and exposure to asbestos is the only confirmed cause of mesothelioma. Fortunately if you or a loved one have been exposed there are Mesothelioma treatments available to help. Sometimes the wonders of medical technology amaze me … other times they baffle me. But, that’s a whole different topic!
This isn’t so much of a gadget as it is an aid, but you need your computer to get to it so it’s still gadgety to me. My computer is just a great big gadget that I can make do whatever I want – except clean the toilet, if only it would do that I’d be thrilled.
Anyhow, we’ve talked about weight loss gadgets, gizmos and aids before. One of the things a lot of diets tell you to do is keep track of how many calories you’ve taken in for the day and how many calories burned for the day. This makes sure you getting enough food and energy for the day, not going over, and doing any damage to your body. I used to think calories weren’t a big deal until I talked with my friend Val the personal trainer, and we started keeping track and she told me that if I didn’t increase my calorie intake I’d never lose any weight. Imagine that, eat more!?! on a diet? You betcha as long as you’re eating the right foods you’ll have a full tummy all day long.
MyFitnessPal offers a handy free calorie counter to help you keep track of those pesky calories and it helps you figure out how many calories were in that meal you cooked even if you’re not sure. It’s a great little tool for finding your calorie balance and getting your diet on the right track. Remember running fast in a video game does not count as aerobic exercise
