Yesterday was Earth Day and there were lots of good deals online and offline for all natural household goods and office supplies. One of the things that caught my eye was this deal from Clean Well Today.
All natural with no alcohol or bad chemicals, hand sanitizer and foaming hand soaps available from www.cleanwelltoday.com are all 30% off with code ED08 through this Friday.
If you keep a hand sanitizer at your desk that’s a great deal to take advantage of. It’s also spring and that means spring cleaning, yuck…. (and packing for me I guess too.) I’ve been noticing a lot of buzz about the internet of “self spring cleaning” and doing things like a liver cleanse. Not sure that’s the thing for me, I have a hard enough time taking my daily allergy medicine let alone something that is supposed to cleanse me -lol-
Anyhow, enjoy the soft and sanitized hands

I hate the sun. I’m fair skinned and freckled, so it’s okay, the feeling is mutual and the sun hates me too. Nothing worse than squinty eyes and sun in your face. On our last trip to Busch Gardens I forgot that I had my sunglasses on top of my head when I hopped on Loch Ness with the kids. Whooops! There they went into the water below when we loop-de-looped!
No worries, I’m not a vintage sunglasses kind of gal. The pair I lost was about $5.00, and the shiny new pair that I just got were $12.00. A bit of a splurge for me, but a gal’s got to do what a gal’s got to do to save from making the squinty eye face!

Every girl wants to look her best when she leaves the house, whether she’s going out for a day of shopping or preparing for a job interview. For a lot of gals that means the use of a flat iron. Hot Tools Professional Wide Flat Iron with Gentle Far-Infrared Heat
with far-infrared heat protects hair’s luster and moisture. Plates are coated in Ceramic+Titanium which seals the hair cuticle, retains hairs natural moisture and destroys odors. Titanium provides lightweight strength, has excellent corrosion resistance and a super hard, smooth surface for snag free styling and even heat distribution. You’ll have your hair done in no time flat (ha – I’m funny) you might even save enough time to scrub the tile in the bathroom once a week or so … you know, if you wanted to do that. Or you could take the extra time to exfoliate, or shop for makeup, or something more fun than cleaning bathrooms.

One totally wicked gift for the geek girl in your life. This is definitely not one of your average gold bracelets that you buy at a department store. Actually, it’s not one you buy at any store. It’s a total concept design from GeekSugar (photo is from GeekSugar) to create iGems, an interesting combination of iPhone icons and a Tiffany’s bracelet. I think they should go ahead and go forward and make these little creations for real! iFANs everywhere would be buying them up for the holidays.
*special thanks and linkage go to GeekSugar for their totally cool geek girl idea.

So this beauty gadget isn’t exactly electronic or usb powered, but I really dislike using a hair dryer on my hair so it’s my kind of beauty gadget. Using a patented ultra absorbent microfiber material, the super soft Aquis hair towel gently and quickly dries drippy wet hair.
Drying with a towel greatly reduces split ends, which I seem to get easily despite not using a lot of heating and chemicals on my hair. I admit that I don’t get to the salon often, but when I do I am almost always complimented on the health of my hair. Which I find funny, because even though it’s healthy I still consider it problem hair -lol-
Don’t let this little towel fool you either. Even before I cut off all my hair to donate to Locks of Love I could wrap it all up and give it a twist. And it’s not as heavy as a regular bath towel so you’re not straining your neck from the weight of the soaked towel. It’s small and light so you can toss one in the car or your gym bag, great for after work outs or on hot days in the park.
Have you tried hoodia supplements in addition to your workout and good eating habits? It can help maintain energy, improve metabolism and keep the scale from going up, up and away.
