I love REM, but I have to say that Shiny Happy People is one of my least favorite songs by them
When ever it comes on, I always skip to the next one. I mean this is the same album that has some real emotion, Losing My Religion, Country Feedback (awesome), etc…
I dunno, I thought that Shiny Happy People was a clear ploy to get radio time… I’m not sure they knew how much the public would love the mandolin in Losing My Religion.

My daughter loved them when she was young. Muppets and Raffe. I liked Raffe better, cause we parents do tire of hearing the same thing over and over and over again. Kids love it that way though. lol
