I have been doing the same thing lately. Staying up until 2 doing work or school on the laptop...but then the cats wake me up at 5 wanting to go outside. So I go back to bed and sleep a few hours if I can during the day. I've heard it's really bad for you to do that, but it's a habit now. :( Just stopping by to catch up and saw your post on sleeping.
