My friend Lisa who lives in a small town was just telling me about an incident where her neighbors home was broken into in the middle of the day. No area is safe from crime of course, but not matter where you live it always makes you think about what you should do to protect yourself and your family just in case. Does your home have an alarm system monitoring installed? Do you have a dog? Are your doors and windows always locked?

We then went on to talk about the things in our home that are the most valuable and what we would do in the event our homes were robbed. Which sparked a reminder in my head that it was time to make backups of all my work on my thumb drives again…. that way should my computer crash or get stolen I haven’t lost any work. See how much my mind wanders?
