Twitter is all the internet hoopla and doopla. Or something like that. I am hooked. It’s like blogging meets instant messaging meets one shot espresso super caffeine beverage thing! It’s microblogging, it’s social, it’s fun and hey, there’s a little blue bird too. I am so geeky I even have an Eat, Sleep, Tweet shirt!
I work from home, so twitter is sort of like office background noise for me. Otherwise I just sit here with my computers and listen to the hum of the modem while the cat stares at me all afternoon. If I’m not working with audio I listen to podcasts and radio during the morning, but having Twitter open in a little window just gives me that “not alone in the world” feeling that I need sometimes.
