Went into Sam’s Club to get dish soap tabs and energy saver lightbulbs and came out with those plus ……….. a Wii! They had 5 left and I snagged one. Total fluke that they had them.

We ended up getting Guitar Hero the other night after trying several times at Target and Toys R Us over the past few months. I popped into Toys R Us this morning because the lady had told me they expected a shipment today. They got 86 of them and sold them all in one hour. Nuts!?!

So we got a Wii. And now I feel guilty for spending money that was supposed to go into the savings account (cause we had already spent most of our Wii saved money on Guitar Hero….) But hey how many chances do you get in life? Hard to believe this thing has been out for like a year and people are still getting up at 6 am and waiting for stores to open to get them. Crazy.

I was just looking at pics of broken tv sets and wii remotes flying in all kinds of directions on the net the other day. Does your home owner insurance cover Wii accidents? I’m scared …. I need to check the warranty on the new TV before the kids play, we don’t have any insurance or anything so I wonder if we’re covered for accidents on the 1 year warranty… I think they have the wrist straps in the box of remotes we got, if not we’ll be getting some of those pronto!

I love our Wii and isn’t guitar hero 3 so awesome. I love it. Now they sell the 2nd controller however it is as much as the game and controller. What a rip off. I hope that the Areosmith version of the guitar hero game comes as a bundle with another guitar controller.

Guitar Hero 3 is great but I must admit I prefer the song selection on the first 2 so check them out if you get a chance! Happy Wii-ing!
