freaking fracking broken E!!!!

Remember my search for the perfect keyboard?? Oh I’m still looking, but I halted my search when the desktop crashed. I figured why buy a new keyboard until I get the new hard drive. (Thank goodness for tax refunds, right?) Anyhow I’ve been using the laptop to work, to blog, to surf, to pretty much everything. Well the darn E broke off.

First it was just the key that came off. I tried to snap it back in but it wouldn’t cooperate and just popped back off again. But, the squishy part was still there. So no biggie. Well the squishy rubber part came off now too!! So now it’s just a bare little sensor. I don’t know if it can even be fixed?! I’m going to have to give the guy over at the shop where we go a call and see if he can do anything for it.

Is a missing E a good excuse to get a new laptop??? Hmmm….

definitely a good enough excuse. I had a wireless Microsoft keyboard at my last job that i loved. i need to track one of those down.

I’m thinking it’s a good excuse, the kids could have the current laptop as their own computer and everything. They’d like that a lot!!

I saw a cool lighted keyboard with lots of shortcut buttons that I really liked a lot. It’s on the top of my list after I get the hard drive fixed on the desktop.
