Eek! What do you do when you need the back up of something and then the backup gets trashed? I put the USB Flash Drive into my laptop. Sat down and started working away on something. Then I get distracted by a noise or whatever behind me and I turn … the keychain gets caught on the chair and the USB drive bends and snaps off right in the port.

So half the thing is in the laptop and half is dangling off the chair. And of course the dangling half has the actual data on it and the half in the port is useless without it. I don’t know if this thing can be repaired or not!?! I’m a little freaked out. My income speadsheet was on there for the year, and some link lists, and half of a new website I was working on.
