Today I’m going to feature a favorite album by a favorite band. Green Day ~ Dookie. I love Green Day, and I always have even way back before it was cool to like Green Day. And what’s fun about that is now my kids love Green Day too. Just the other day Dylan asked me if I could put this song on his ipod for him, then he asked me what album it was from because he couldn’t find it. The song was Long View and the album was Dookie. Parental notice ~ yes, this song has bad words in it and yes I let my 10 year old listen to it. Please don’t throw stones and tomatoes and whatnot at me. He knows the difference between acceptable everyday language and artistic expression. What can I say, he’s a smart kid.
