System is not wireless, uses the included AC adapter for power. Just another gizmo to plug into the surge protector. Great for at home, or teenager’s room to listen to your favorite downloaded music without the headphones while you work, clean, or whatever you need to do. Portable, lightweight design makes it easy to take along for traveling, but the way the airport tosses luggage around and all the scanners it goes through I think it might be better left at home if you’re flying. (My last flight killed off my electric razor)
