I’d like to introduce you to a fellow Geek Girl ;)

This nifty blog is not only written by a geek girl, it’s full of geek girl goodies too. I love how they have the weekly series setup going on, that is definitely something I need to think about doing. Getting a little blogging series going on, aside from our usual music monday that’s just for fun.

There’s the Geek Girl series, which is all about technology. You’ll find little tidbits about the newest and coolest tech popping up in this series each week. I just read her post about Mozy online, which I hadn’t even heard of yet -lol- always learning or finding something new on the internet. I should clarify that … I know of quite a few online backup places I just wasn’t familiar with Mozy. Backing up is important btw people. If you haven’t backed up your files yet this month, please go do that now.

Then there’s the new Soulville series that she’s doing. I’m sure you’re wondering where that name came from? The movie The Wiz ~ I don’t know why I feel old for knowing that movie but I sort of do. Anyhow, the Soulville series is going to be full of How-To‚Äôs, community service, sports and sporting goods, computers, web design and graphic design, home needs and organization goodies.

The only thing I spied on this blog that I didn’t like was the use of Comic Sans font on a few posts. I don’t know why this font annoys me so when I see it in anything other than the Sunday funnies. But, that’s just my own personal pet peeve, not really a site issue -lol- ignore my nerdiness and blog on!

One thing that I did like a lot on thepinkc site was what I found when I clicked on the “site design” tab at the top of the page. It tells you about all the nifty wordpress plugins that are being used on the blog! Have you ever been to a blog and saw a cool feature and wondered “how the heck did they get it to do that?” Yeah, all the freaking time, right? A little page like this lets you know exactly how they did that, and I love sharing the knowledge. I’ll have to go write down the plugins I use and make a list too! Great idea.
