Dear iRobot,

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

I enjoy your great products very much and the way they make life easier for all us crazy humans. You’ve taken the idea of having a cleaning robot and made it a reality. I’d like to see a few more aspects of my daily life made easier and I was really hoping that you might be able to help me out with that. Afterall it is 2007 and I am supposed to have a holographic telephone and a flying car by now. So far it seems your company has been one of the few to help us get a step closer to that “future” we all dreamed would happen in this decade.

As much as I would love a grocery shopping robot, I see how that could get messy. All those robots walking around the grocery store buying the same things, and the poor cashiers wondering where all these groceries are really going to.

So, instead I’m going to request a simple thing. I’d really like an iRobot that folds and puts away the laundry in the right person’s room. This one chore is the most tedious and time consuming of all my chores. If it could somehow identify which laundry belongs to whom, fold it, place it in the correct basket, and deliver that basket to the bed of the appropriate person for being put into drawers I would be able to get so much more done and spend more quality time with family doing other things. Even with the kids recruited to help this one task can take us up to an hour or more each day! Then there is the sock sorting and rolling. We might need a completely separate robot for that task!

I beg of you to help with this chore. I know that myself and households everywhere will be ever grateful for your technological advancements and creativity. Anyone that wears clothes is sure to enjoy this iRobot!

Thank you so much for your time and consideration.

Sincerely,
Loretta Oliver
